My research has as its goal to identify the source of human immunodeficiency particles in the seminal fluid andto determine whether these virions have resistance mutations. This is to be accomplished through the use ofmolecular characterization, phylogenetics, pharmacokinetic and drug concentration assays. I have researchedaspects of this area and employed these techniques in relation to studying HIV for 20 years.
